Rob Ryan Projects Is a building design, interior design and property development company focused on bespoke residential projects.

Located on a prominent site in South Yarra, this Victorian terrace required a considered solution to achieving the client’s brief to maximise the site’s potential.

A conscious effort has been made to retain the key heritage appearance and structure of the existing dwelling by providing a defined modern extension. The creation of a new second floor level, clad in aluminium panels, ensured the existing architecture is celebrated.

Internally, the space is intentionally understated and pure in form and materiality, sympathetic with existing house architecture.
